KSA Scoring Explained
KSA's are usually graded from 1 to 10.
To qualify for a Federal position you must meet 2 types of factors, which are the Selective Factors and Quality Ranking Factors. Selective Factors are the minimum you must reach to qualify for the job, while reaching the higher facors, Quality Ranking Factors (QRF), usually guarantees that you are in the race for the position.
The better grade you will have on your KSA's and Federal resume , the better chance you will have to reach those Quality Ranking Factors and demonstrate that you are a great match for that position. Generally, to show you how important a KSA is in the government hiring process, 40% of your application's grade comes from the KSA alone.
